Good location, despite being near the elevated road leading to the Rama 8 bridge, since it is off the main tourist area, but still close enough for those clients who'd like to do some Khao San Rd. exploring. The old Thai Hotel has been nicely renovated (except for the lifts, small & old!) and as result has become an alternative to Banglumpoo hotels such as Viengtai and New World Lodge. In fact, the large swimming pool makes it quite attractive. Inspected November 2006 |
