Day 1: Bangkok

Naga - The Bangkok To Saigon ExpressDay 1

Tuesday / Saturday

Klong Tour

This morning you will be picked up at the hotel by our guide and transfer for a canal tour : an exploration by the different boats of the Chao Phraya River and small "Klongs" (canal) of the rural Bangkok, including visits to a local market. After the tour you will be transferred back to your accommodations

Day 2: Bangkok - Siem Reap

Wednesday / Sunday

Pick up from your Bangkok hotel at 7 AM. Transfer today will be by comfortable join-in minibus. Maximum amount of 6 passengers will be on the bus.

Drop off at Aranyaprathet border crossing (Poi Pet). Complete Thai immigration and customs procedures before crossing the border on foot. Obtain your Cambodia visa (costs are 20 USD pp, one picture required) before completing Cambodian Immigration and Customs procedure. Meet your Cambodian driver and transfer to Siem Reap. Transfer from Poipet to Siem Reap will be by private car or minibus (not more than 6 passengers).  Driving time now only 3 - 4 hours!

Day 3: Siem Reap

Thursday / Monday

Angkor Day Tour

Entrance Fee Angkor 1 day is included.

This Morning, focus on the Angkor Thom Complex, including Phimeanakas, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and finally the Bayon, with its mysterious towers and beautiful bas reliefs.

After lunch on your own, explore Angkor Wat, the largest and most breathtaking monument at Angkor. Built as the funeral temple for King Suryavarman II, who ruled from 1112 to 1152, Angkor Wat never fails to reward the first time or repeat visitor with its grand scale, surreal bas reliefs and unbelievable attention to detail. Spend the late afternoon and sunset hours exploring one of humankind's most magnificent creations.

Friday / Tuesday

After breakfast check out and go on own to the main bus station. The public bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh takes about 7 - 8 hours, departure times: 07:30, 08:30, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00. Upon arrival at the Phnom Penh bus station transfer on own to your hotel.

Day 5: Phnom Penh - Chau Doc

Saturday / Wednesday

Today, you will be transferred to the pier of Chau Doc.  Please note that departure time is only 12.00 PM.  You need a valid Vietnamese visa. After finishing the necessary immigration and customs formalities at the Cambodian and Vietnamese checkpoint you will continue to Chau Doc. The Hang Chau boat moors near the hotel.

Upon arrival you will transfer on own to the hotel.

Sunday / Thursday

This morning you will join the group for a scenic drive via Long Xuyen to Vinh Long, ending at the home stay on An Binh island.

The driver will drop you off at Vinh Long pier. Our local guide will pick you up and then take a waterborne journey. We arrive at the village stay on An Binh Island, our home for tonight. Enjoy a delicious home cooked meal for dinner.

Monday / Friday

Cruise the canals, rivers and backwaters we’ll discover how the local people lead their lives here and go about their daily business. We’ll visit some family-run industries, which include a rice paper, popcorn and popped rice factory. In this region many households specialize in a different industry where we’ll learn the process involved in making some of the products for which the Mekong Delta is famous, including fish sauce, soy sauce, tofu and clay floor tiles.

Continue cruising, we’ll pass a congested flotilla of boats selling all manner of fruit and vegetables at Cai Be’s floating market, one of the most beautiful markets in Mekong delta to rendezvous with the bus to Saigon.
